Nearly 8 years ago, a love story unfolded on the campus of the University of Texas Austin. Despite a population of nearly 50,000 students, Jennell and Cameron, found themselves drawn together in the most unexpected of ways.

It all began in 2015, when Cameron attended a club meeting. Cameron noticed an intelligent, energetic, empathetic, beautiful student named Jennell. Cameron and Jennell spent hours dedicated to addressing student issues together. As fate would have it, their connection deepened as they noticed their shared passion and endeavors.

For two and a half years, they danced around the edges of friendship, but their friendship was slowly growing into something stronger. One day they bravely confessed their feelings and their relationship forever changed. Jennell and Cameron found themselves inseparable from that moment on.

After graduating, fate would have it that Jennell taught at the DISD elementary school closest to Cameron’s job at Texas Instruments, making it easy for the two to commute to work together almost every day. A few years later in the heart of downtown Dallas, on July 22, 2022, surrounded by the city lights and the love of their closest family and friends, Cameron proposed and sealed their love forever.
